The MISSION of ESTEEM is to support student learning in a manner that empowers students to take responsibility for their own learning and life. We seek to help students recognize their own potential and to help them improve the skills they need to function more effectively in an increasingly diverse and demanding world.

Exploration

ESTEEM mentees will be explore a variety of pertinent experiences. There will be guest speakers from policemen, firefighters, computer engineers, entrepreneurs, designers, sports figures such as high school , and college student athletes along with professional athletes. ESTEEM mentees with explore the arts, as we visit museums, art galleries, John Hope Franklin Center for Reconciliation, Greenwood Cultural Center, Black Wall Street, and the Tulsa Zoo. ESTEEM mentees will experience and learn about the engineering process, with hands-on activities. ESTEEM mentees will explore finances to gain financial literacy, utilizing Junior Achievement’s curriculum.

ESTEEM mentees will be have to an unlimited number of positive, healthy, and exciting experiences.

Engagement

Once per month ESTEEM will engage parents and family members in order to build community and cohesiveness.

Bringing Unity into the Community as ESTEEM serves our neighbors in the Tulsa Community.

Community Service

Quarterly, ESTEEM will provide our youth with the opportunity to serve in the Tulsa community/region/Union School District and beyond.

·  Visit Nursing Homes (Future)

·  Clean-up areas in neighborhoods

·  Volunteer to help the elderly

·  Foodbank

 Partner with ESTEEM Community Development Organization Inc.

Businesses, philanthropists, schools, churches, organizations, and individuals, partner with ESTEEM and support our vision, and goals of, Transforming Youth into Successful Adults, as we help Build the Next Generation Through Tutoring and Mentoring.
